What is the difference between a Mardi 27 and a Mardi 27 FS bike?
The Mardi 27 range is a city bike, available in two frame versions:
- Mardi 27 (front suspension) : single suspension fork, for daily urban use, including on cobblestones.
- Mardi 27 FS (Full Suspension): full-suspension kinematics with SR Suntour fork and Magic Grip Control 115 shock absorber, effectively absorbing road irregularities, for enhanced comfort on degraded surfaces, cobblestones or paths.
Both versions share the same base: Bosch motor, adjustable stem, integrated gear hubs, and on some finishes a Gates CDX belt drive for minimal maintenance. European manufacturing: German motor, Portuguese frame, complete assembly carried out by Moustache in France.
Which model to choose between Mardi 27 and Mardi 27 FS?
- Choose the Mardi 27 if you mainly ride on well-maintained roads, if you prioritize simplicity and reduced maintenance, or for a more accessible budget.
- Choose the Mardi 27 FS if your routes regularly pass over cobblestones, potholes or degraded surfaces, if comfort is a priority, or if you often carry loads (the Mardi 27.6 FS supports a GVWR of 160 kg).
