How to transfer ownership of my bike in case of sale?

Do you want to part with your Moustache bike to make someone else happy? Follow these steps to transfer ownership of your bike from your virtual garage and thus pass the torch to the new owner. With our Moustache Code, nothing could be simpler!

This process is also applicable to other types of markings such as Bicycode, Auvray, or Recobike, etc. Visit your marker's website to perform the manipulation.

Here is the list of steps to follow

Log in to your virtual garage or your marking account.

Click on the “Transfer ownership” button.

⚠️ For other marking operators (Bicycode, Auvray, Recobike..), you must “Detach the bike from the garage” and then contact the brand service to complete the transfer of ownership.

Enter the buyer's contact details.

Click on “Validate”.

Following this action, the buyer will receive an email at the address you provided and will have the option to accept the transfer of ownership.

It's done! The bike then disappears from your virtual garage (or account) and now appears in the buyer's. ✨

Special mention for buyers: do not hesitate to create a Moustache account beforehand with the email address provided to the seller to facilitate the operation.
