First victory for the Samedi 29 Trail
Last Friday, August 21st, the Les Menuires resort hosted the French VTTAE XC Championships.
Already a winner last year and Vice-World Champion in Mont Saint Anne (Canada), Jérôme Gilloux put his title back on the line as the favorite for the event.
Dominating the race from start to finish aboard his Samedi 29 Trail 10, Jérôme once again won the French Champion title. On a 5.6km course completed four times in less than an hour, Jérôme perfectly controlled his race, finishing two minutes ahead of Natan PATROIS, also on Moustache!
Natan Patrois has been competing at a high level in XCO for several years and had already participated in the French Championships last year. For the record, Natan also works at Moustache in the assembly team, so it's a double source of pride for the Moustache Bikes team.
It's historic: in three editions of the French VTTAE XC Championships, Moustache has secured 3 French Champion titles and 3 French Vice-Champion titles!
It's an understatement to say that we are incredibly proud of our two Moustache riders!
