11. Safety Recall — Carbon Forks

Why was the product recalled?

We found that, in some cases, this carbon fork could crack or break at the fork steerer during an impact (8 cases identified to date out of 10,000 bikes affected by the recall).

Tests have been carried out to define the problem and identify the batches of parts concerned.

Deviations in production lead to variations in carbon thickness in the steerer area that do not conform to the initial characteristics. With prolonged use or under specific conditions, the risk is proven, even if very rare.

The replacement fork uses a different manufacturing process, ensuring steerer stability.
