On Friday 21st August last, the Menuires resort hosted the French EMTB XC Championships.
Already winner last year and vice-world champion at Mont Saint Anne (Canada), Jérôme Gilloux put his title on the line with the cap of favourite of the event.
Dominating the race from start to finish on his Samedi 29 Trail 10, Jérôme wins another French Champion title. On a 5,6km track completed four times in less than one hour, Jérôme perfectly mastered his race, two minutes ahead of Natan PATROIS also on Moustache!
Natan Patrois has been competing at a high level in XCO for a few years now and had already competed in the French Championships last year. For the record, Natan also works for Moustache in the assembly team, which is a double pride for the Moustache Bikes team.
It’s historic, in three editions of the French EMTB XC Championships, Moustache has won 3 French Championship titles and 3 French Vice-Champion titles!
It’s an understatement to say that we are super proud of our two Moustache riders!
