Already a two-time Vice World Champion in 2019 and 2020, the Moustache rider took on an enormous workload this season with his sights set on the World Championships he coveted so much.
On Friday, August 27, on a Val di Sole (Italy) circuit perfectly suited to E-MTB, mixing descents with extremely technical climbs, the Moustache E-Team rider immediately took the lead on his Samedi 29 Trail 10 and never looked back.
Long trailed by Frenchman Hugo Pigeon, Jérôme made a final effort to shake him off in the last lap and win with an 18-second lead.

For Jérôme, this is the highlight of a fantastic season: indeed, the Moustache rider has already won the French Championship title and 2 out of 3 rounds of the UCI World Cup. He wears the leader's jersey before the last two rounds which will take place in Spain on September 24 and 25 (Costa Brava-Girona) and October 16 (Castelldefels Barcelona).
We couldn't end this message without saluting the tenacity and courage of Natan Patrois, our 'Moustache' colleague working in the production team, who finished these World Championships in 16th place.
It goes without saying that the entire Moustache team is extremely proud of its rider and that we will be closely following the end of the season!
