LIGHTENED UNSprung MASSES, OPTIMIZED CENTER OF GRAVITY CLUTCH frees up suspension and performance!

By integrating the gearbox into the central motor, approximately 750g is saved at the rear wheel by eliminating the derailleur and cassette. With repositioned masses and a lighter rear wheel, a new world of possibilities and performance opens up to us! This is why we were able to develop a specific shock absorber setup offering unparalleled grip on descents and climbs thanks to extreme sensitivity while absorbing large impacts effectively on rough terrain. The ideally placed center of gravity offers incredible balance in all situations, precision, stability, and agility never seen before!

27/9 WHEELS The front wheel at work, the rear wheel celebrating!

Almost 10 years ago, we were the first to offer an e-MTB with differentiated wheel diameters. At the front, the 29'' wheel brings precision, stability, comfort, and confidence in technical sections. At the rear, the smaller 27.5'' wheel allows for shorter chainstays to increase maneuverability, responsiveness, and offer a playful side to the bike. Normally, what you gain in performance on descents, you tend to lose on climbs… but with the lightened rear wheel and the masses repositioned at the motor, we manage to get the best of both worlds! A rocket on descents! and a rocket on climbs!

Clean, quiet, and maintenance-free, we opted for a belt drive on some CLUTCH versions to allow year-round riding while further minimizing maintenance needs…

MAGIC KINEMATICS At Moustache, we love ultra-performing suspensions!

CLUTCH has unique characteristics! Its suspension kinematics too! Combined with a specifically calibrated Rockshox shock, taking advantage of the lightened 27.5'' rear wheel and repositioned masses, it offers magic on every ride! Uphill, roll over obstacles with ease, without wheelieing at the speed of an XC rider. Downhill, enjoy the precision, speed, and sensations of a DH rider! Engage in turns, fly over the terrain, smile!!! The inflection of the ratio curve at the beginning of the travel offers increased sensitivity to small bumps for more comfort. When things get serious, the curve becomes more progressive mid-stroke to offer balance and support in turns or climbs. At the end of the travel, the much higher ratio dissipates the energy of large impacts, or the most committed landings, to land smoothly, without ever bottoming out.

MANUAL SHIFT
Preferred shift mode for committed MTB use.
Nothing replaces the expert eye of a rider to anticipate the terrain!
You are the pilot, you decide!

AUTO SHIFT
Automatically select the gear that coincides with the user-defined target cadence and travel speed.
This target cadence can be easily adjusted via the Pinion TE1 shifter.

AUTO SHIFT PRO
The ideal gear is selected automatically based on the target cadence and travel speed.
However, the TE1 shifter is no longer used to adjust the cadence but to force a manual gear change if necessary.

PRE SELECT
It selects the ideal gear when you are descending or coasting;
you will always be in the right gear for your pedal restarts.

START SELECT
The MGU will automatically select the appropriate gear to restart after a stop;
no more risk of clumsily restarting in the wrong gear.

Frame personalization kits ;-{D

To keep your Moustache bike looking its best season after season, we've created a protection kit. The seatstays and chainstays are protected with pre-installed transparent vinyl protectors. A set of transparent protectors for the top tube and down tube is also supplied with the bike, but you can also make your bike unique or almost unique with our custom kits, available as accessories.
