A gesture for the planet

With a footprint of less than 1 m², much smaller than that of a car (between 6 and 9 m²), cycling frees up a lot of public space, a rare commodity today...
All this contributes to making our cities and the environment we live in more pleasant. If there's one thing the lockdown has shown us, it's the benefit that calm can have on us!
A reduced footprint at all levels: the battery on an electric bike is small and light, about 2.5 kg, and therefore requires little raw material.
In comparison, for a small electric car with a capacity of 40 KWh, you need the equivalent of 80 bike batteries (of 500 Wh). A 100 KWh sedan uses the equivalent of 200 bike batteries... often to transport only one person. On this particular point, the ecological pressure of an electric assist bike is therefore between 80 and 200 times lower than a car. Moreover, an EAB weighs only 20 to 25 kg on average... still to be compared to the 1000 to 2200 kg of a car, electric or not.
For our batteries (and our motors), we have chosen to work only with the German brand Bosch which adheres to a very strict specification for the sourcing of its raw materials and the manufacturing of its batteries. Regarding recycling, we work with the company COREPILE for the recycling of used batteries, and after processing, 60 to 70% of the battery can be reused.

Some models are even equipped with our Quick-Park stem that allows you to park your bike in a narrow hallway by cleverly turning the handlebars 90° with a simple twist of the wrist. All our urban and versatile bikes feature powerful lights and luggage racks allowing our panniers to be attached very easily QL3 in one click. Almost all are equipped with a MIK platform to quickly attach compatible accessories with this standard and the vast majority of child seats are compatible.
