Silver and bronze medals for the new Samedi 27 Trail!

Jérôme GILLOUX and Julien ABSALON takes silver and bronze at the first EMTB XC World Championships on the brand new Samedi 27 Trail.

We could not wait more time and we were all glued on the live tracking of the UCI!
Yesterday at 4:15 pm local time (8:15 pm French time) was the first EMTB XC World Championships at Mont Sainte-Anne, Canada.
The Moustache riders had this target in sight for many months and they didn’t disappoint!

4 laps of a technical and physically demanding track where our riders gave it all.
Jérôme GILLOUX (eTeam Mavic La Roue Libre) and Julien ABSALON (Moustache ambassador), the only two French champions of the category, have once again wrote history of their sport by taking second and third places of those first World’s Championships.

South African rider’s Alan HATERLY was super strong, maintaining a gap to take first place, congratulations to him.

Freshly equipped with their new Samedi 27 Trail, Jérôme and Julien already propels it as a reference in the category and proves that this new bike is already well born!

Nadine SAPIN, who had the opportunity to be part of the France group at the last minute, showed a lot of courage.
Equipped for the occasion with a Samedi 27 Trail 9 Season 8, Nadine has long been in 3rd position, but could not resist the return of Anneke Beerten in the very last lap.Past disappointment, it’s a very nice 4th place and intense memories she will proudly bring back home.

Congratulations to Switzerland Nathalie SCHNEITTER who wins the first place.

Note also the 28th place for Christophe BETARD, X-terra specialist who had won his selection at the French Championships in Epinal and who also rode on a Samedi 27 Trail 9.

Huge congratulations to all our riders, the whole Moustache team is super proud of you!!!
