About My Moustache Bike

What should I do if my bike is stolen?

In the event of theft, if your bike is marked or engraved, increase your chances of recovering it by updating its status and your details on the national cycle register, which can be accessed by the police. From 1 January 2021, it will be the responsibility of the shop to make the declaration of registration on the national cycle register (FNUCI).

⚠️ Only the owner of the bike can update its status via the account provided by the marking operator chosen by the shop when the bike was put into circulation.

How can I find out which marking operator has registered my bike?

4 Options

Check your bike invoice: The name of the marking operator may be on your purchase invoice. Go to the marking site to log in.

Use the APIC search bar: If you know your bike’s marking number, use the search bar on the APIC website to find the operator who manages this number. Access the search here.

  • 2

Look for an activation email: The tagging operator may have sent you an activation email when you registered. Check your emails to find it.

  • 3

Paper proof of registration : When your bike is registered in the national cycle database, your shop must give you this paper proof of registration. This will contain your marking information.

  • 4

Contact your shop: Contact the shop that sold you the bike to obtain information about the marking operator.

How can I change the status of my bike?
